What We Offer

Magpie Brewing

Magpie was started by four friends in a quiet alley in Seoul and along the way helped to spark an explosion of craft beer production in Korea. The magpie is known in Korea for being a herald of good news. Taking a cue from the bird, Magpie aims to spread craft beer culture throughout the world.

Magpie likes to push boundaries by using local and often unexpected ingredients like tangerine peel, sancho pepper, and hobak pumpkins. These are sometimes used for traditional medicine in Korea. Magpie above all strives for balance and drinkability.

Magpie considers that craftsmanship, community, and culture form its foundation. The various locations, designs, and collaborations reflect these core values. Wherever you come across the bird, you can experience the craft beer scene in Korea.

Tokki Soju

Tokki aims to put high quality soju back on the market by using the absolute best ingredients. There are no additives or artificial flavors. Commercial soju often contains industrially produced ethanol, stevioside, and quite a few other chemicals. This craft soju on the other hand is made from nothing but organic rice, hand cultivated nuruk, natural yeast, and reverse osmosis filtered water.

The moon and rabbit hold a lot of meaning for Brandon Hill. He moved to Korea in 2011 to study traditional fermentation practices and distilling techniques. This happened to be the year of the rabbit. While pursuing his studies, Brandon learned all the ways that Korean culture reveres the moon and its phases. He then founded Tokki.

The craters on the surface of the moon are often compared to the outline of a rabbit in Korea, so when you’re sipping soju under the stars, you’re never alone!
